Left 4 Dead Single Player Infected

Does playing Left 4 Dead as a Survivor alone in Single Player makes you bored? Ever thought of trying to play as Infected? Does it work? Well, basically with the normal settings, it don't. But there are always ways around things. Playing Infected in Single Player mode does require settings and guess what. I've found out ways to do that. To do that you will have to enable your Allow Developer Console at the Options settings under Mouse/Keyboard settings. After that you will be able to hit on this button " ` ". After hitting that there should be a Developer Console. This is where cheats are enabled and all funny things are done. Start a game in a Single Player mode with any maps. After the map has started. Hit on the Developer Console button and type in the following : -
- sv_cheats 1 ( enables the server cheats )
- sb_all_bot_team 1 ( 1 means the do whatever themselves, 0 means they need a leader )
- director_no_human_zombies 0 ( enables the Select Side button which is ' M ', also disables Hunter / Smoker / Boomer Npc's )
After done typing these. Hit on ' M ' button then you will be allowed to choose sides. What are you waiting for? Select Infected to play as Infected. And if you ever get bored. You may always join back the Survivor side but remember to set director_no_human_zombies 1 or else there will not be any Infected Npc's unless it is Tank or Witch. Please do not add - in your typing in the Developer Console. Hope this helps you enjoy your game more and not bored by only playing as Survivor all the time. Plus there are some cheat codes that might make you feel over excited after turning into Infected. You could try typing : -
- z_spawn *
* hunter / smoker / boomer / tank = you will be these Infected
* witch ( only controlled by Npc's ) / mob ( a whole bunch of Zombies )
And these are cheats for the Survivor's. In case you ever wonder but I guess most people have already known these : -
- sv_infinite_ammo 1 ( like it says, infinite ammo, don't need reloading )
- god 1 ( totally invincible, like a god you know? )
- buddha 1 ( you gets injured but you don't die, funny eh? )
- give *
* first_aid_kit / pain_pills / autoshotgun / etc. ( whole lots more of stuff, go figure it yourself )
Well, guess these would help you boost your excitement in Left 4 Dead. Plus, you could get cheat codes by just typing in Left 4 Dead cheats in Google Search or anything. But playing as Infected in Single Player took me Months to find out and here am I, sharing it with you to just hope you guys have fun! Enjoy it!
